Your private iCloud library

Open Settings → Library & Data. Turn on private iCloud and choose whether to merge local collections. The local-only library stays separate. Pinterest imports cannot be merged into iCloud.

Pending changes are saved on disk and retried. If the account is unavailable, confirm that iCloud is signed in on your Mac and that your storage quota has room. Retry Sync after restoring the connection.

Morrowpane separates private libraries by iCloud account. Changing accounts detaches the previous library and its wallpapers. A second physical Mac and cross-account scenarios remain part of beta testing.

Turning sync off returns to this Mac’s local library; it does not delete the private cloud library. Use the separately labeled data controls to remove cloud content. Private iCloud uses your Apple storage plan and is not an unconditional end-to-end encryption guarantee.
